Time will be spent developing goals and discovering musical tastes to make sure lessons are rewarding and engaging.

I have experience teaching students ranging in ages from 4 to 50+.

I am also Working with Children Certified (Blue Card). Card Number  11989789.

I pride myself on tailoring lesson content and my teaching approach to each individual student.

I have methods and teaching strategies that aid in the delivery of relevant information that is also tailored to suit the different learning styles.

I specialise in rock and metal drumming; however, I can teach all styles.

Equipment

I have a fully sound proofed air condition studio which is fitted out with the following.

2 x professional-level drums kits (both with professional-level double pedals and cymbals.

2 x Practice pads

1 x 1000w PA system

Computer with printer for training resources

I also have a couch in the studio for parents who would like to stay for the lesson.

What to expect at your first lesson?

At the start of your first lesson, we will discuss your goals, your current playing level, and your musical tastes. From this discussion I will develop a lesson plan specifically for you with the intent on achieving your goals. As these goals are achieved, we will discuss and plan together future goals and begin to work towards them.

Review your lesson

The student and or parent will receive feedback and access to relevant training resources through a private file sharing platform. This could include but not limited to videos, sheet music and with the student permission video footage of the student rocking out. This platform will also contain the detailed notes of your students’ progress for the student or the parents’ to review.
